I recently choose to start kickboxing in order to stay in shape, and found that it is a lot of fun. So I decided to talk to a group of women who have been taking kickboxing classes for more than a year, and find out why they like it so much. What I found out is that kickboxing is not only a lot of fun, but is really a great way to lose weight and stay in shape.
Unlike other exercises that are usually not a lot of fun, the women whom I spoke to said that kickboxing works all of their muscles, and they enjoy doing it. Many of the women that I spoke with also felt that it was great way for them to get rid of some of their stress. Six out of the ten women that I spoke with happen to be mothers, and wives, a and said that it is a great way for them to relieve that stress that comes along with a busy day with the kids. The rest of the women were professional women who work hard at work all day and agreed that it is a great way to get rid of stress. So no matter what you profession is kickboxing really is a great way to get rid of all the extra stress that comes along with life. It is very effective as much as how tummy tuck surgery removes excess skin and fat around your abdomen.
If however you have never taken any type of kickboxing class let me point out that you don’t actually make any contact with another person. In some classes they will use a punching bag, but in the majority of the classes that I visited they don’t use anything at all. It is such a high intensity workout that it really only takes about ten minutes for you to work up a sweat. If you are interested in checking out some of these classes in your area then they will probably be referred to as cardio kickboxing. In some of these classes they choose to combine the kickboxing with aerobics. One of the women that I spoke with also said that they love the kickboxing classes because it makes her feel stronger, and she feels like she is ready to face anything that may be thrown her way. So if you have never thought about trying a kickboxing class, why not purchase a kickboxing tape. They have plenty of kickboxing exercise video tapes that you can purchase, and you will be able to do all of the exercises right in your own home. This way you can decide if it is something that you really want to do before you spend the money on a class.
